Brettné Hunter has 27 years of dance experience from classic studio technique, dance team sidelines and Dance Masters of America Acrobatic training. She grew up studying ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, musical theater, tap, hip hop, contemporary and acro and began competing at age 5. Brettné has won overall at regional and national competitions along with title competitions. Brettné was awarded scholarships from Dance Masters of America’s, Showstopper, Dance USA, LA Dance Force and Showbiz. She has trained under Debbie Allen, Travis Wall, Shelia Barker and other honorable choreographers. Brettné has been teaching and choreographing dance for 14 years specializing in contemporary, hip hop, jazz and power tumbling. I worked for Universal Dance Association from 2008-2012 teaching dance camps and judging competitions. Brettné received her Minors in Dance at Western Kentucky University, where she was also on the varsity dance team from 2008-2012 (holding title of Team Captain 2011-2012), Western Kentucky University was the top dance team in the Sunbelt conference from 2010-2012. She was a choreographer for WKU’s game day sidelines, halftime performances and National Dance Association nationals routines. Dance Team Awards for most valuable dancer, best technique and leadership award. Brettné has continued her training at Barre Company in 2011 for barre teaching, 2012 Yoga and Pilates certified. She has been awarded Choreographer for national winning solos, duets and group dances. Continuing her dance education at Nashville Ballet, Millennium Dance Complex, and Broadway Dance Center. Brettne is thorough in her teaching methods, meticulous and passionate about correct technique!
