Cara Collier

Cara Collier

Cara Collier grew up in Cartersville, Georgia and began her training at the Cartersville School of Ballet. While at the Cartersville School of Ballet, she performed in numerous productions of the Nutcracker along with other productions, ie: Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, Coppelia, Snow White, and many others. Along with her daily classes, Cara attended summer intensives with the Atlanta Ballet and Joffrey Ballet where she truly found her passion for the art. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Kennesaw State University where she was a member of the dance company for several consecutive semesters. While in college, she had the opportunity to study dance abroad in Israel with the Batsheva Dance Company. Following graduation, Cara taught dance at several dance studios in the Atlanta area and then became a preschool teacher. Her experience as a preschool teacher allowed her to understand child development in a way that only benefited her dance teaching technique. As a recent transplant to the Nashville area, Cara is so excited to share her passion for dance to the artists in the Robertson County area.
